Loving the Des Moines Community

We like to call Des Moines a little gem of a city. Offering such a wide variety of things to do, places to eat and outdoor activities it just makes us smile to call Des Moines home to our Xcel local office. The authenticity of the people is so genuine that there seems to be a friendly smile from the local Hy-Vee aisle to walking through the Papajohn Sculpture Park or enjoying a Saturday at the local Farmer’s Market. You know your year is not complete until you see the Butter Cow and have amazing food at the Infamous Iowa State Fair. Whether you are walking the River downtown or taking a drive out to Saylorville Lake, you will find the character of Iowa’s capital, Des Moines to be none other than welcoming and eclectic.
