Jim was born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa in a business-centered home. His dad owned Giant Manufacturing company, and Jim learned about business operations and ethics from an early age. Jim went to high school at Abraham Lincoln high school in Council Bluffs and attended Buena Vista University and Iowa State University, earning a BA in Finance.

Jim has spent his career in a variety of industries including insurance, commercial banking, waste and recycling systems, manufacturing, residential contracting, and roofing. His strong, independent entrepreneurial spirit leads him to succeed in business operations. Known in the Omaha marketplace for this straightforward and honest business methods, Jim is well-respected in the business community.

Jim learned the roofing industry from a 30-year veteran who was a perfectionist and demanded that each roof be installed properly down to the last nail. To ensure that all customer needs can be attended to properly, Jim applied for and passed the national exam for Class D contracting and proudly holds that license. Leading the team with Matt holding the passion for excellence in customer service and is growing the company to be the leader in the region.
