As the youngest of 7 siblings, growing up in a big family in Omaha has given me so much gratitude for the irreplaceable support of community both within and beyond my own home. Watching my father's hard work and dedication instilled me with a sense of purpose, to care for those around me and give my all in every day. He will always be my idol.

I graduated from Omaha South High School in 2002 and, with my passionate love of sport and (natural athletic gifts) talent to match, I followed my childhood dream to become a soccer player. I earned a Full Soccer Scholarship to Bellevue University where the intense rigor of training and demanding schedule both of the athletic and academic components of being a collegiate scholarship athlete taught me the invaluable importance of preparation, consistent hard work and communication.

After Graduating from Bellevue with a Degree in Sports Management, I gained 3 years experience with CSI insurance, discovering everything about health and life insurances and how to effectively and efficiently manage claims and insurance processes.

2010-11 saw me able to realize my dream of playing indoor soccer professionally with the Omaha Vipers, winning MVP on several occasions throughout my term.

In 2012 I felt drawn to work more with people. Soccer continued to to be an important part of my life as I won the position at Omaha Central High School as Bilingual Liaison and Assistant Soccer Coach. It was here that I developed a true love of supporting both students and adults to learn - about themselves, their potential and the impact they can have on the community. For six years, I was selected to manage and support a delegation of 20 young men to help strengthen their leadership skills and become future pillars of the community at the USHLI conference.

My dedication to supporting my community has lead me to Excel. Committing to and developing within a company that shares my values means that I am able to nurture and support my clients while at the same time provide practical help to improve their quality of life. It also means that I go home from work satisfied, fulfilled and happy each day.

When I'm not working you can find me at sports games, in the gym, playing soccer, volleyball or running and hanging with my friends or my family and tutoring my nieces so that they have every opportunity to live a happy and healthy life.
