1) Family Background (i.e. Wife/ parents/ , # of kids, grandkids ect) This is whatever you would like to share

My middle daughter is on the Millard West competition cheer squad that won nationals this year in Orlando, FL. Carsyn my youngest is also in cheer and fallowing in her older sisters footstpes.

2)Born and raised where, if not here how did you end up here?
I was born and raised in Omaha

3) What high school did you attend?

I attended Millard North High School where I graduated in in 1989
4) What is your work background?
After I graduated high school I went to Scottsdale AZ, where I managed a golf course until 1998, I then moved back home to Omaha and took classes for my real estate license and worked as a sales representative for a local home builder. I worked my way up to become Director of Sales and saw our company grow to one of the top 50 homebuilders in the country building 900 homes a year. I left that position to become the Director of Sales and marketing for a national homebuilder in Colorado. During the housing crisis the company I worked for went out of business and I moved back to Omaha where I became an owner of one of the top night clubs in Omaha. I sold that business and went back to my roots in the construction industry and started working in the roofing industry. This year my work laded me at Xcel where I have been extremely happy with my decision.

5) Who was your influence growing up and why?
My greatest influence growing up was my Father. In the early 70’s through the 80’s he ran a successful floor covering business and when he sold it went to work for Mohawk Industries as a sales representative. I believe I learned all my skills as a sales person from my father.

6) Why did you choose Xcel?
I choose Xcel for several reasons. They are a company that has a great name in the Omaha area and that was important to me. Also I happened to know one of the owners and we have known each other and mutual people for many years so it was a company I trusted.

7) Personal hobbies and interests ( i.e. baseball team, fishing, golfing)
I love to travel and spending time with my children. As a single man I had many hobbies but now my focus is on my children and their activities. Outside of my children I enjoy golf, hiking and weight training.

8) Community Involvement
I sponsor Millard West Cheer and as a company we do a lot of Habitat for Humanity. In the past I have volunteered my time with the Special Olympics.

9) The one customer or roof that sticks in your mind/heart and why?

I had a customer who new the decking was bad on their home and they thought that they were going to have a huge out of pocket expense. After research and going up in his attic finding out there was a decking issue I was able to justify removing and replacing that was covered by the insurance prior to work starting. This not only saved time it put the customer at ease which made him appreciate going above and beyond to set his mind at ease.

10) What is the one thing you could not live without?
I could not live without my children. They are my reason for my hard work and my passion for life. They give meaning to my life and hopefully a legacy that I leave that inspires them to greatness.
